Harry Potter? Harry Potter. Why does that name sound so familiar? Must be one of those forgotten public domain flicks they’ve been riffing…

Yeah, sure wish they’d do a Harry Potter movie sometime… :)
And hey, wouldn’t it also be funny if, like, Mike and Bill dressed up as Harry and Hermione on the cover, and Kevin was Dumbledore?

Something tells me they’re going to have a field day with the Felix Felicis scene.

(Now, y’see, if MK&B were good, respectable geeks like most of their audience, the “Dragon Balls” joke would’ve been wide open…
Oh well, the Right People will get it.)

Woohoo, a new short!
I wonder if Grammaria is near Safety Island.

Perfect! I just started watching the Harry Potter series again with Rifftrax commentary. The timing on Half-Blood Prince couldn’t have been better.

I think Grammaria may be a principality of Seatopia. Or possibly Fruitopia.

The Harry Potter RiffTrax are usually good for a few chuckles here and there, but this whole preview cracked me up. To me, RiffTrax seems to do best with material that takes itself incredibly seriously, like Memento, so the darker Harry Potter films look like they’ll be a riot.

Another Harry Potter Rifftrax makes me the happiest person in the world right now!

I think people on twitter and the internet comments have proven the importance of grammar and how much we use it.

What a surprise…. EricJ doesn’t/won’t like a RiffTrax. I wonder if they will finish the series?? Loads of depressing imagery and a high body count in the last two. No whimsy to speak of.

No whimsy = perfect riffing fodder. That’s why the Harry Potter Riffs have gotten better each time. Well, that and the increased effort required from not repeating themselves.

@ MrTorso – Yes, I’m shocked AND I think if they’ve come this far they’ll be finishing it off. I can’t wait til the last one. I was dragged to it by my nieces and nephews and burst out laughing when Voldemort gave his “Avartakadavra!” (or whatever the hell it is).

 Yeah, my ability to take the Harry Potter franchise seriously died a quick death when I realized the “killing curse” was Avada Kedavra. I know that, in honoured British tradition, the books are full of puns and portmanteus, but c’mon. That’s either a Steve Miller song or one of Flash’s rogues. Allakazam!
