Er, what the heck did I just watch?
I mean, “Setting Up a Room” was unnecessarily long and unhelpful, but at least I could tell what the point of the film was. This was some sort of experiment in random images.
I’m with you Matt B – what the hell was that??? It makes you long for the days when you wondered if “corn is grass” and “what can I make with this cardboard box”…

If there’s anything to riff on that’s better than safety shorts, it’s bizarre shorts. This sounds really good.
Man, this one was weird, even by 1969 standards. The psychedelic seizure-inducing countdown at the beginning… condiments gone wild… children whose singing brings to mind the “KIDS” from Santa & The Ice Cream Bunny… yeesh.
Wow…this short was really pointless.
Obviously a vehicle for the lead actor who is some kind of weird hybrid of Martin Short and Andy Dick. Completely pointless but I can at least sleep tonight with the knowledge that there was at least SOME reason for this.

I don’t think I’ve ever said this before about anything these men have tackled, but this short would have been better on its own with no riffing.

The only explanation I can come up with is that someone half-filmed two shorts and, “Monster A Go-Go”-style, assembled them together because of time constraints and/or being stoned.
So, basically, there was no mustache guy; he arrived back on Earth safe and sound.
Well, drugs are like that.
When the production staff uses them.
I’m trying to figure out what the hell that “7” is in the opening “countdown” to that short. That’s a 7?
