If you’re going to the con, get in line for your badge EARLY if you preordered. My wait was three hours this afternoon. On the other hand, if you buy at the con, your wait will be all of 10 minutes. Really surprised at this as most big cons mail the badges out.

Do they usually sign autographs at the panels, or will there be tables set up in the autograph area? Any thoughts?

Thanks for the info. I’m on kind of a tight schedule, so I may not have time to sit in on a panel and get them afterwards. Would love to sit in, but I’m only there for the day so I’ve got a lot of people to get.

What an utter, kaleidescopic freak show this Dragon*Con is. To qoute me some Loverboy**, I’m “Lovin’ every minute of it.”

Just looked at the 128 (!!!!!) page handbook for Dragon Con and see that Bill, Trace and Frank will be doing something at 8:00, or maybe it’s 8:30, on Sunday night. If they’re not around during the day, I’m afraid I’m going to have to miss them. I’ve got a 10 hour drive both ways, so I’ve got to leave before then, probably closer to 5:00. Bummer.

During the “Down in Deep 13” panel Trace gave a nice shout out (I believe that’s what you kids would call it) to the Satellite News – something along the lines of “they know more than we do” when asked about upcoming activities, I believe. Nice acknowledgement from Trace and a highly enjoyable panel from both him and Frank. Keep circulating the jokes!

So far, so weird. Frank absolutely killed at the Gonzoroo show last night, doing a short stand-up set after Paul & Storm and before Jonathan Coulton. Too early this morning it was a full house for Bill during the Riiftrax panel. He was really a sniffly panel of one (get well soon, Bill!), but he had RT web guy Eric bounding about for the assist. Fun, informative and an excellent reminder that between RT and CT the future of pro riffing is in great hands.

p.s. Speaking of hands, Timmy Big Hands even got a mention this morning. Fond, silly memories.

I was on a really tight time schedule driving from Chicago one day, hitting the con the next morning, and then driving back to Chicago that night. I was afraid I was going to miss seeing Trace, Frank and Bill. Fortunately Trace and Frank had a table set up so I got to meet them. Great seeing them again! They were super nice as always. I missed Bill’s panel Sunday morning as I was waiting in line for Stan Lee and couldn’t stick around until 8:30 for the next one. I thought perhaps I would walk around and see if I could find him. Not twenty minutes later I was about to go down an escalator and I look over, and there he was, just walking by! He was also super nice and waited for me to get stuff out for him to sign. Now if I can get Kevin and Mike, I can get my “Ultimate MST3K Autograph Experience” framed. Okay, that’s not actually what I call it, I just came up with that, but it is kind of catchy.

Yes, definitely GET WELL, BILL! :)
I had a great time at D*C this year, thanks to Bill, Frank & Trace! (My new Facebook profile pic is now me, being the bubbly fangurl next to Bill, LOL …) I was the one who won the RiffTrax DVD from Bill for answering the “Beowuuuuuuuulf!” question correctly. That was awesome! Went back to the hotel and watched “Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny” to my little heart’s content.
I agree with CK2. WE MISSED YOU, MIKE & KEVIN!!! PLEASE COME NEXT YEAR!!! :D
