Harumph. They seem to have done away with DivX with this short.

Done away with even a .avi option?
That would impede my desire to purchase the product . . .

My clip isn’t working as well, but you seen one possum, you’ve seen them all.

Same with raccoons, UNTIL ONE GETS IN YOUR HOUSE. Then you start eyeing each and every raccoon suspiciously, in the hopes of recognizing the little burglar that kept you up all night so you might exact your revenge someday, but you can never be sure ’cause they all wear those little masks that are oh so cute UNTIL YOU REALIZE THEIR TRUE, SINISTER PURPOSE…

Wound up going with the mp4 version and it worked out fine (on MS Media Center). Files are just about the same size as the DivX ones were, so I cannot complain. I’ve never been able to justify using the larger high-quality formats for these shorts as they really suck up space on the server :/

Well if you’re putting the shorts onto a DVD like I do, then you want to download the MPEG for highest resolution. You want to see every film scratch and piece of dust on these old shorts in the highest possible quality, don’tcha? :-D
DIVX and AVI seem kind of extraneous to me so long as MP4 is available. And WMV can just go to Hell.
Of course, there’s free software out there that will convert video into whatever format you like. Then I can put RiffTrax on VHS in EP mode. That’ll REALLY take me back to the gold ol’ days…
