Another suggestion: MST’ed movies you saw **before** they were riffing fodder, and what you thought of them.
My contribution would be memories of a very wimpy child. I saw “The Mole People” and “Teenagers from Outer Space” on the old 1960s Saturday afternoon b&w TV horror movie wastelands. TfOS scared the *** out of me with that skeletonizing ray gun! When I saw the movie again decades later on MST3K, I’d completely forgotten about it and was shocked to see scenes that I remember as being frightening looking so cheesy now. But, hey, I was just a little girl.
I’ve loved cheesy giant bug movies since I was a kid, and as a little boy “Beginning of the End” RIVETED me. I also remember “Kitten with a Whip” seeming VERY sexy to me! :)
Do you have any memories?
Well, the ones I remember for sure would be:
INVADERS FROM THE DEEP (The Stingray TV series); THE LAST CHASE; ROBOT MONSTER; MOON ZERO TWO; THE AMAZING COLOSSAL MAN; EARTH VS. THE SPIDER; WAR OF THE COLOSSAL BEAST; MASTER NINJA (The TV series); THE INDESTRUCTIBLE MAN; GENERAL HOSPITAL; BRIDE OF THE MONSTER; THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN’T DIE; THE BEGINNING OF THE END; VILLAGE OF THE GIANTS; KITTEN WITH A WHIP; REVENGE OF THE CREATURE; THE LEECH WOMAN; THE DEADLY MANTIS; THE THING THAT COULDN’T DIE; THE SHE CREATURE; I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF; GORGO; THIS ISLAND EARTH.
The one that REALLY registers with me is VILLAGE OF THE GIANTS. One of our local TV stations showed it a lot and we watched it A LOT. Hey, we only got 4 channels back in then, sue me.
The one I still enjoy as a movie (not as a BAD movie) is THIS ISLAND EARTH. Also, bad movie or not, Ann Margaret was sexy in KITTEN WITH A WHIP.
My wife’s step-dad has an old beta video tape of OVERDRAWN AT THE MEMORY BANK that he recorded off of PBS many years ago. Apparently…he liked it! Whew!

Like a few others here, I saw Laserblast in the theatre at the tender age of eight. My adult cousin, thinking ‘hey, he likes Star Wars, this’ll be fine’ took me to see it. I still rag her on it to this day.
I also remember seeing ‘Village of the Giants’ on the afternoon movie one day after school, probably around the same time, more or less. Even at that tender age, though, I still remember thinking ‘…the hell?’ ;-)
