I’d like to know everyone’s favorite movie credit sequences. For example, Crow and Servo really take Mike to task during the interminable credit sequence at the end of Space Mutiny. (Crow: “You sitting there with your hair all feathered…”) It’s a priceless bit, and I’m sure fans have their favorites.
You can talk about opening or closing credits and you can discuss the credit sequence itself or the riffing thereof.
As for me, I can give my answer with one word: “Tusk!”
What’s your pick?
Not only is “James Arness: Ugly and Stupid” the funniest credit sequence ever, but it may be the funniest thing MST3K ever did.

Pretty sure I said this last year, at least for the opening credits, but I love their jokes for Zombie Nightmare. “I saw Fist open for Bad Finger.”
For closing credits, it has to be MST3K: The movie. The Amazing Rando riffs always make me laugh.

#95:
Mike: Oh, now, you guys prepared that.
Crow: Come on, it’s an obvious line, Mike.

Final Sacrifice. And really too, it’s sort of like a bridge between MST3K and their later projects, because it’s like they aren’t in character, but are themselves. (At least Bill & Mike).

I can mention a lot that have been mentioned already, but wasn’t there one end credit sequence that was just them laughing hysterically during the whole thing? I can’t remember which episode that was, but the laughter’s contagious.

107: You’re thinking of “Devil Fish,” which ends on a freeze frame of the characters laughing. That’s one of my favorites too, because it is just so random and surreal.
Also, I love some of the aforementioned classics like “The Final Sacrifice” and “Soultaker.” Plus, I love the opening to “Monster A-Go Go” where Crow is so optimistic but Joel insists there’s “an air of mediocrity” with it. At least I think that mediocrity is the word.

For as often as the Final Justice end credits have been mentioned, I can’t believe nobody’s mentioned Crow’s blast from the opening of that movie. When Joe Don Baker’s name comes up, Crow says “I wish I was illiterate so I didn’t have to read that.” Makes me lose it every time.
