This one is very silly but fun. Alert regular Timmy says:
I was looking at the Beatles Abbey Road album cover and thought, who four MSTed movie characters would you pick to be crossing the road?
Mine: Commander Jansen, The Soultaker, Steve (from ‘This Island Earth’) and Troy. What would yours be?
Rowsdower, The Master, The She-Creature and Winky.
What’s yours?
Coleman Francis,the Master,John Agar(from the Mole People)and Mr.TORTCHA himself,King Moody..
Eegah, the Blood Beast,Jan in the pan and the octopus from Bride of the Monster..
One Giant Leech, one Killer Shrew, the Black Scorpion and a giant grasshopper(from Beginning of the End)..
google “abbey road cam” ;)
Merlin, Sinbad, robot (from Santa Claus Conq the Martins), one of the trees from Jack Frost
I’d love to see that
My own comment from earlier has given me an idea for a future Weekend Discussion Thread.
A variety of different characters show up in our favorite MST movies, but many seem to fulfill recurring tropes (the Brains themselves already once pointed out “oily guys who center the camera largely on themselves”). I, myself, have love for the “scrawny feeb who’s virtually worthless without the protagonist” (Danny, Mikey, etc.)
What are some of your favorite (and hopefully overly-narrow) character archetypes that, for whatever reason, just kept reappearing in MST movies?
How about four Monster Pauls: Paul from “The Crawling Hand”, Paul from “The Projected Man”, Paul from “Track of the Moonbeast” and Paul from “Werewolf”.
Hestia the Fire Maiden, Kendra Eldridge from Phase 4, Betty from Teenagers from Outer Space, and the dark haired woman from Phantom Planet.
I am in a Rolling Stones mood.

Crow’s Head Soup
But… but… didn’t the Abbey Road cover give us hints that Paul is dead???
The Master, Rowsdower, Mitchell, & BigMcLargeHuge
“But there was no Paul”.
Across town another Paul was speculating on whether or not he would still be needed and fed when he was sixty-four.
All-Joel:
Mitchell, Torgo, Droppo, Trumpy
All-Mike:
Rowsdower, Big McLargeHuge, Coleman Francis and a Hobgoblin
All-Star:
Mitchell, Torgo, Rowsdower and Big McLargeHuge
Ed Wood, Roger Corman, Coleman Francis, and Burt I. Gordon. I’d place a lot of little “It Conquered the World” monsters around as safety cones so that they don’t get hit by a car while they’re crossing the street.
With Ed looking resplendent in a cashmere sweater.
And all of them happily filming the parked cars as they go…
Er.. which Merlin though? Santa Merlin or Borgnine Merlin?
Gare
Four of The the Eye Creatures. The whisper thin one is Paul.
Gare
Merlin (from 1003)
Vance (from GSI)
Mitchell
Ortega
Trumpy, Torgo, Rowsdower and Tony Farms.
Tor, Torg, Torgo, and Gorgo — The Mount Rushmore of MST3K!
Jeff – Once Upon a Honeymoon, Tom (Arch Hall Jr) Nelson – Eegah!, Chase (Don Sullivan) Winstead – Giant Gila Monster, and on lead vocals, John Carradine! “night train to Mundo Fine!”
What do think, sirs?
It stinks! :stop:
Rowsdower(Final Sacrifice), Cabot(Outlaw), Mr. B. Natural, and Ken(Fugitive Alien series). I was going to include Johnny from Time of the Apes, but he didn’t care.
Gamera, Godzilla, Mothra, Gorgo. We’re gonna need a bigger street.
How about a beginnings and endings theme?
The Crawling Eye
One of the turtle aliens from Laserblast
The Creature from the Black Lagoon
and finally Diabolik.
Torgo, Peter Graves, Joe Don Baker, Lee Van Cleef
Plenty of good ideas already, but here’s my “agent” list. Brian “Super Dragon” Cooper, Bart Fargo, Neil Connery, and Johnny “Diamond Head” Paul.
One more, muscle-themed-Steve Reeves, Alan Steel, Kirk “Maciste” Morris, and Miles O’Keefe.
But how much O’Keefe would there be in that group?
ooOOoooo… I forgot there were 2. Definitely the Borgnine one. With Monkey clutched under his arm. :D
Santa, Santa, El Santo, Sam the groundskeeper (Did you know that Dracula was a f*g?”).
MILES O’KEEFE!
