I’ll be at the Regal Commerce Center Stadium 18, on Rt. 1 in North Brunswick, NJ.
By the way, Sampo, while you’re at the theater, could you glance over and see how they’re doing with the new stadium for the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Used-To-Be-Yankees?

Hope everyone has fun and is able to get tickets as this is the second time that 4/5 localish theaters all sold out or ended online ticket sales. Packing the house for a film packed with laughs and good times!

The always upsettingly sticky Regal 20 Theaters in Augusta, Georgia.
Ladies, I’ll be the impossibly svelte, incredibly dateable stack of man in a plain black t-shirt, sneakers and glasses. Probably pants too. We’ll see. Chat me up and I swear there will be no Torgo-esque fondling, absolutely none, and when I say none, I mean there will be a certain amount.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in theater’s this will be in?
The past live rifftrax have been shown in just one theater ’round here (southern Connecticut)and now, it’ll be in THREE theaters.
It’s always been shown in the Branford Regal but added to that are now the Milford and North Haven cinema’s.
I’m kind of skeptical and leery of heading to the Milford, which is closer to my house, but can this really be true? Has anyone else noticed it’s playing in more theaters ’round your parts than previously?

AMC Castleton in Indianapolis. My usual Rifftrax group had to bail on account of Gen Con, so it’ll be just me this time. Anyone else going there?

#87 – Yes, I noticed that. Normally there’s only 1 theater in the entire greater Kansas City area with a Rifftrax event, but this time there’s *6*. The showing for Jack The Giant Slayer was about 3/4 full, which was a drastic improvement over previous events (maybe 1/4 full, at best, and in a smaller theater).
If they’re advertising it to the general public about as much as to Rifftrax members (I think I’ve been getting at least 1-2 emails a week for over a month now?), there should be a big turnout.

@7 and @73: Cool! There are other Utahns puttering around the forum. Unfortunately, I won’t be in SLC with you two. I’ll be Cinemark in Provo, UT. For “Jack the Giant Killer” the place was about 20% full, but some of the riffs were drawing applause. I can’t wait to see the crowd’s size and reaction to “Manos.”

My wife took the day off just to get ready for this, and she has tomorrow off to recover from a RIFFTRAX-MANOS-FEST-A-RAMMA.
“Will it hurt?” “Sure honey but sometimes hurting can be good.” “Why John Cougar even wrote a song about it.”

What I’d love to see tonight is Bill, Kevin, and Mike in light blue sweaters like in the Movie.
Or I would love to see the stage go dark and then hear the haunting TORGO theme play then nothing, just dark. Then hear it again and hear from the back of the theater “Did someone order a pizza?” And then the haunting TORGO theme and see Mike dressed as TORGO shuffling to the stage. On his way to the stage he could stop near a young lady in the crowd and paw at her shoulder and say ” He wants you, but he can’t have you.” On stage Bill and Kevin could be calling out for Debbie, and then say where is that TORGO and the grown up Debbie could come out and ask if they’ve seen her dog.

I would love to know how much money has been made on this film. Not saying how much money did the RIFFTRAX guys make off of this, but over the years how much money has been made off of all the years at movie houses and drive-ins, DVDS VHS, and even the new game. And if you told that guy back then how much money it was going to make and how many times it would be watched by geeks like us, it would have blown his mind.
