Ummmmm, Santa made me work last night, I just got off of work. My “secret Santa” person didn’t give me anything yet….hmmmm. I got a gift card to a local restaurant last week from my mom….oh, I ordered myself Maniac and The Christmas Shorts-stravaganza from Rifftrax yesterday, but it won’t show up for a few days, so I guess my answer is nothing? I got myself some beer on the way home this morning…

    Well, I thankfully got….

Mst3k volume 7 (crosses fingers it doesn’t have the edited disc)

    The 20th anniversarry T-shirt

    Oh, and best of all…..

THE OUT OF PRINT MST3K AMAZING COLOSSAL MAN VHS TAPE :D

For stuff outside of my mst3k presents:

One Family Guy DVD, a Pug calender, a Newburry Comics gift card, two checks, some candy (yum), the Cop Out movie DVD, and a Vista card (now that I’m 18 :D). I believe that’s it. I can update if I find more.

Absolutely nothing, just like last year and the year before that. I’ve been umemployed for 8 months (not the first time that’s happened) and I’m still living at home (mostly because of my constant unemployment problem) so my Unemployment check has to go to bills rather than spending money I don’t have. Like I said, it’s definitely not the first time.

I got the latest MST box set for myself as an early gift (heh). I got tickets to go see UCONN women’s basketball at Madison Square Garden to win #88!!! WoooOOOooo! (Also an early gift). I got a gift card for Best Buy, which I’ll probably use for the NEXT MST set (it’s a sickness, ain’t it?)

Don’t know what I got from my sis yet, as I haven’t gone over there yet, that’s later today.

Laura @ #4: I’m sending you a Christmas wish for new job that you’ll enjoy. Here’s hoping you’ll find one soon.
And for everyone else out there who’s having a hard time right now, too. (It sucks out there right now – I hope it gets better for this country and the rest of the world in the not-too-distant future).

    Merry Christmas, everyone!

I got The Brothers: Isley vinyl LP from my old college roommate.

My girlfriend’s gift to me is on back order, so who knows.

Since my parents are too lazy to actually pay attention to my life or even shop for me, I bought myself the “Who Is Harry Nilsson and Why is Everybody Talkin’ About Him?” DVD, a dress shirt, an argyle sweater and season 7 of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I bought volume 19 the day it came out, I couldn’t mess around ;)

I got the XIX boxset with Gypsy for myself not long after Thanksgiving. I simply couldn’t wait for Christmas. But today I got a very awesome new guitar, an AmEx gift card, and an AMAZING new cardigan. A great Christmas, I must admit. Happy Holidays to everyone and @ Laura (#4) I’ve been there and all I can say is things will get better if you just hang in there. I personally would like to wish you a Merry Christmas.

I pretty much swept the Rifftrax Shorts DVD releases. I had put several on my Amazon wish list and apparently the whole family took that and ran, ran like the wind.

The amazing thing is there wasn’t duplication even though I know they weren’t coordinating their purchases.

Nothing. No family, no presents, and my crockpot blew up when I tried to roast the Christmas dinner. :(
Only present I got was a box of imported European cookies from my landlord who has a habit of bringing bakeshop muffins when he visits.

Didn’t even have enough Christmas budget left to catch up on my Shout boxsets on Amazon (I’m a few behind), but I at least managed to find the 50 Years of Mad Magazine DVD-Rom for 60% off, and am spending the weekend with Instant Netflix, studying up on my classic 70’s movies.

He’s awesome!). I also got some cheese and crackers, a gift certificate for Starbucks, and a couple little Totoro figures.

I got the new MST3K set with the Gypsy figure. YAAAY! Outside of that, the new Amy Sedaris book, “Simple Times: Crafts For Poor People”, American Dad Volume 5, The Family Guy Kit (which is actually sort of lame), the new Ministry cd, a cool new Rubik’s cube called “Scruble” that has letters on it and is a cross between a Rubik’s Cube and Scrabble and this bitchen new laptop that I’m writing this on.

“Hey! If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I’d like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey **** he is! Hallelujah! Holy ****! Where’s the Tylenol?”
