Nothing MST3K related, but my brother got me Werner Herzog’s 1979 remake of ‘Nosferatu’ on DVD. It includes the English and German versions and a making of documentary. I guess the only MST connection in Ray Dennis Steckler’s resemblance to the title vampire.

nothing MST3K related, and for the first time in years nothing video game related, got a couple books and some money

I actually had MST3k fairly well represented at Christmas…volume 16 complete with Tom Servo figure and a RiffTrax dvd of Little Shop of Horrors !

New black Chuckers! Woo hoo!
Oh, MST related. :( Well, Mike wore Chuck Taylor’s on occasion.
But I did find volumes 7 and 8 at the library a week or so ago. Never bothered getting any of the DVDs past Egah and the Brain.

#11, v. 4 is one of the best of them all. Enjoy it! Interesting that you get that one when Space Mutiny was just commented on in the episode guide updated.
I’m with the majority this year. Nothing MST-related. What I did get was as follows: A “Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!” book, “Guinness World Records 2010,” and the biggie, for the Wii, “Rockband 2.” I jammed all night last night and added “Cool For Cats” by Squeeze to my computer’s music files (found it on the game and loved it right away). I even tried my hand at the microphone on that song and found that I can imitate the singer’s Cockney accent perfectly!

Oh and I forgot, Merry Christmas to all my fellow Christian MSTies!

Also, the new Star Trek movie on BluRay… along with the Rifftrax.

Volume XVI, and a copy of the ACEG. Not related to MST was a Zippo lighter with the Serentiy logo on it.

I got Vol. XVI about a week before christmas (along with Rifftrax shorts vol. 1), so I didnt get anything MST3K related on christmas. But I did get The Beatles Rock Band, and an ipod touch among other things on christmas

I got a ten pack of episodes with bonus 11th DVD. (OK–I bought it for myself.)

I got Volume 8!
It was worth it for Monster A-Go-Go alone, but the other three episodes are great as well.

MST3K volume 4, meaning I’m two off from having all the boxsets (volume 9 not withstanding and I think this might be applying to volume 7…). Though I think the better present was me and my sister-in-law wrangling up the whole family to watch Santa Claus. That was a treat.

I got the Volume 16 set (I am in love with that Servo figurine) and one of my friends made me a big collage of Joel pictures :p I promptly hung it by my bed.

Nothing specific to MST3K, but all gift cards will be applied to fleshing out older eps that I have on vhs but haven’t replaced on dvd, and all cash goes towards getting caught up on CT releases. I did get an electric smoker, which I’m excited to use for some pulled pork and smoked turkey breast tomorrow ! Yay food!

Volume XVI, but my birthday is coming up soon so there may be more.

I got Volume XVI and promptly screamed so loud I frightened my family. Tom Servo is currently resting on my tiny Christmas tree. He would look really good on top of it, but I haven’t rigged it yet.

I recieved a copy of “The Venture Brothers” season one- from huge MST fan.

MST related: Volume XVI! (Even though I had watched “Santa Claus” just a day earlier)
Not MST related: Some clothes, exercise equipment, cash, gift cards, scratch tickets and a Philip Rivers jersey.

Volume XVI, and the newer MST3K:TM DVD.
Perhaps because I just saw “Merry Chrismas Mr. Bean”, Crow and Servo are currently in my nativity scene, probably debating whether it’d be too dickish to point out to the players that this probably took place in the summer and only got retconned to coincide with Yule and the feast of Saturn later on.
Considering I usually have some Transformers peeking in instead, the scene is still quite tasteful.
Also a lot of grey socks, and a DVD of John Carpenter movies, including my fav, ‘Prince of Darkness’
It’ll likely have to be saved for next year, but “Worst Christmas Special We Just Watched” would be a good follow up to last year’s “Holiday Movies that deserve Riffin'”. I still have to pop in my tape of the Christmas ep of “Superhuman Samurai Cyber-Squad”…

My cousins got me a copy of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.
That is, a straight-up, uncut DVD of the original movie. Between that, my MST3K copy, and my CT copy, I’d say now my collection’s complete! :-)

I got Vol. XV, and even though it’s a supposedly lesser set, it had the best gift of all, 3 eps I haven’t seen before, which is the most of any set so far.

Got the East Meets Watts dvd early and some cologne.Have watched East Meets Watts 3 times already.

Yes I did get MST-related stuff! My wife got me Volume XVI (at my urging) complete with that beautiful Servo figurine. But she shocked the s**t out of me when I also received unriffed versions of The Sinister Urge and The Incredibly Strange Creatures etc. on dvd! “I couldn’t get you Volume 9, so I thought I’d get the unriffed versions on there,” she explained. I was very impressed with that, even if she couldn’t find “Wild Rebels” or “Prehistoric Women”.

My brother’s girlfriend knitted me this AWESOME scarf with the theater silhouettes. (She’s a welcome addition to the family!)
I also got the first two seasons of the original UK version of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”

I got XVI, and watched Santa Claus right away, of course.

Got Volume XVI!!! Santa Claus was the first thing viewed along with my old copy of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. Great Double Feature and now I can retire my VHS copy. I hope to see a Gypsy action figure next year.

I got Vol. XVI and CT’s East Meets Watts and a “Lets Have a Patrick Swayze Christmas” T-shirt for myself a little before Christmas (MSTy overkill).
From my mom I got some DVD’s from Sky – Untamed Youth, Rocketship X-M, Time of the Apes, Fugitive Alien, Mighty Jack, and Viking Women vs. the Sea Serpent, all of which I had asked for, but she also got me the single DVD of Rhino’s release of Eegah! on Ebay, which was a nice surprise  .
REAL MSTy overkill – I might have to take a vacation from this show for a while.
UnMST related – I got some tickets to two UConn women’s basketball games, and some tickets to a new Broadway show “Memphis” (for March). Some gift cards. Got together with family three nights in a row. Had a good holiday.
Well, only 364 more shopping days til Christmas – better get cracking people.

Also got a copy of “The Room” on dvd.

I got a wad of cash (thanks Grandma!) that will go to further my various MST-related obsessions:
1. Purchase tickets for the February Cinematic Titanic gig at the Castro Theater in San Francisco.
2. Pre-order the next Shout Factory DVD box set XVII. “I killed that fat barkeep Rowsdower with the weed of deceit.”
3. Donate to Rifftrax for all the wonderful work they’ve done in the past year (I’m looking forward to skewerings of Twilight: New Moon and Avatar in 2010!)
4. Buy a new MacBook so I can burn the download of “East Meets Watts” from CT.
5. Get that hoodie from MST3K.com that Sampo linked to. I was in the market for some new threads anyway; now everyone will know what a dork/geek/nerd I am. Let your freak flag fly!
6. Get some Satellite News swag. The 2010 Shorts calendar looks very appealing. Seriously, thanks guys for all your great work…

I decided it was time I entered the 21st century and was given my first MST3K DVD “the Essentials” w/ Santa conquers the Martians and Manos (which I’ve never seen!). I’ve gotten along since 1994 on my VHS of some syndicated shows from #48 in Philly and the SciFi years and a few VHS from the store like Red Zone Cuba. It wasn’t my first choice but I couldn’t ask in good conscience for any of the volume sets with the economy and all. Maybe when my FiL is gone I can go for it.

Merry Christmas! Gots me Vol. 16. Now I have both Tom and Crow in box sets! Watched “Santa Claus” first for Christmas, then “Blood Beast.” Saw “Corpse Vanishes” earlier today, still need to see “Lost World.” Bite me, it’s fun!

Also, got some non-related MST stuff: great tin set of “Forbidden Planet” (complete with Robby the Robot figure!), this awesome model of the “Back to the Future” car (with lighs and sounds!) a couple of MST-worthy movies (“Land that Time forgot” and Roland Emmerich’s “Godzilla”) and some Christmas tree ornaments of Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, Swedish Chef from The Muppet Show, The Twilight Zone, and a couple others.

Received Volume XVI from my wife and my brother got me a Christmas-themed DVD that has the unriffed versions of both Santa Claus Conquers the Martians and Santa Claus in addition to other Christmas stuff of a public domain/crappy transfer nature. But as one who gets un-MSTed versions of the experiments on an all too embarrassing frequent rate, I could honestly say I didn’t have both of those.

@#47: My sister found the same DVD for four bucks while we were shopping a few days ago, so I picked it up.
As for what I got for Christmas, Volume XVI with Servo, just like I asked for! Thanks Mom and Dad! I also got the Smackdown vs Raw 2010 video game. How is this MST related? I plan to use the Creat-A-Wrestler feature to make the unstoppable tag team of Dr. Forrester and TV’s Frank. And maybe Zap Rowsdower.

I got a “I wanna decide who lives and who dies” hoodie.

Looks like that Vol.XVI sold pretty well… I got one too along with the T.Servo figure. But what?! No Crow?? He didn’t, um, that is to say, he didn’t ddddepart, did he? Just can’t think of him being farther out than the SOL.
And being Christmas I had to try “Santa Claus” from the set but just couldn’t muster the needed strength to get thru it, bad move lover that I am.
