Holy crap finally!! Saw this in St Louis in 10 and I’ve been dying to relive it. Thank you CT, this makes me very happy.

I think Rifftrax just hypnotized me to buy this new Rifftrax :-D

Saw this in Phoenix – my wife and I thought they were going to do War of the Insects, but out of deference to the reactor meltdown that was then in the news they did Rattlers instead. It was not a disappointment. My favorite part is when, late in the film, our “hero” and his “leading lady” seem to magically pop over the Vegas for a sleazy weekend of fun, then magically pop back and resume fighting mutant rattlesnakes. Jaw dropping.

It was worth the wait..Thanks CT!

Oh, HELL Yeah! I’ve been looking forward to any CT DVD release for… frankly, I’ve lost track of how long. This will be bought the very day it’s available.

I am also excited for this. At this point, I’ve seen almost all the CT movies live, but I have never seen Rattlers. I’m ready!

I needed this. Even though I don’t like sn…sn…snakes.
I’ve watched East Meets Watts so much lately that I have the soundtrack playing internally while I drive or walk the streets.
Not that it’s a bad thing. Okay maybe it is.

Watch out for sna……….ahh, nevermind. Too easy.

Saw this show in Minneapolis back in September with my brother and a friend and it was gut bustingly funny, can’t wait to watch this one again. I’ll also say it has one of the most hilarious finales to any MST’d/CT movie I’ve ever seen.

I still haven’t seen War of the Insects yet, so now I’ll be two behind on my CT releases. Once I’m working again I’ll be sure to make these my first purchases.

Great news! Saw this one live a while back and it was a hoot.
By the way, which CT titles haven’t been released on DVD yet? I’m pretty sure there are a couple more outstanding.

@18 Kenneth Morgan..They riffed SAMSON AND THE SEVEN MIRACLES a couple of times, but hasn’t made it to dvd.Believe they did that one before WAR OF THE INSECTS..After RATTLERS,they riffed THE ASTRAL FACTOR.That’s pretty much it for now.Of course they do THE DOLL SQUAD tomorrow night, which is their premiere.

Sam Chew, the George Plympton look-alike from Being From Another Planet/Timewalker stars in this. Wonder if they’ll bring that up?

Looked at the “Meet & Greet” segment they linked to after the short.
I felt the same way the first time I met my icons.
Cried too, but then I have always been a bit of a woose.
Got a gift card to Amazon for my birthday. Will I get this or then next MST3K set?
Decisions, decisions.

Does Amazon sell CT movies? I’m pretty sure you need to bu it direct crime their site. The new MST3K set is probably the way to go.

Has it been confirmed that this will be from the September 17th show in Minneapolis as originally planned? Fingers crossed it is (my wife and I drove from Winnipeg to see this show). Either way, it’s great to see another live DVD be released!

Well, that totally failed to sell me on this release. Lots of dead spots, poor audio (including talking over dialogue so I had to backtrack twice to understand what was said) and fairly lame material overall.
Maybe it’s more entertaining when it’s actually live, but based on this trailer, this DVD can wait for a sale…

#22: Per the Cinematic Titanic site, “Rattlers” will be available exclusively through Amazon.

Interesrtimg. I hope they post it for preorder before my Prime membership runs out next week.

#25 And yet as of today Amazon does not even list it for advanced orders.
“Your search “cinematic titanic Rattlers” did not match any products.”

I wish that CT could somewhat match the release schedule of rifftrax. They’ve been doing it for years now and they’ve only done what, 15 movies? I know being on the road is tough, but come on people!

I typed in “Cinematic Titanic Rattlers” on Amazon and it came up(the cover anyway)and it says it’s “currently unavailable”..I wonder if it’ll be for sale at midnight? Only 2 more days..YES!!

@28 Eric Woll..Could it be they’re using their own money to whereas Rifftrax isn’t? They use their own money to get the rights to the movies they do,too. That would be a good question to ask them on their website or on their Facebook page.Cinematic Titanic has it to where you can donate to them.Don’t know how long they’ve had it.

I like the riffing in the sample, I just wish they didn’t have the interstitial music so glaringly louder than everything else! It’s annoying music anyway, and to have it blare out suddenly like that is incredibly annoying.

Yeah, the sound mix in that trailer is weird. The review that just got posted didn’t mention audio quality, so maybe it’s just the trailer? (I hope.)

@28, Eric Woll:
Quality over quantity. Perhaps Mike, Kevin and Bill should keep this in mind.

Love the CT music (Josh wrote it, right?) and don’t judge a riff by a trailer. I’ve learned that from rifftrax.
This will be the first release that I haven’t seen before in, well, years.
Hope they won’t wait so long for the next one.

Wasn’t there talk at one time of CT finding a home on the Bravo network??? Or was that just another fever dream I suffered through?

On amazon it still says currently unavailable. Hope that changes tomorrow. I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while.

As soon as Satellite News gives us a link, I’ll pre-order.

Wish I could just download the ISO file like before. Guess EZTakes isn’t so EZ anymore.

So they’ve stopped doing download releases then? If I want this I have to buy the physical disc, and I have no choice but to order it from Amazon.com. And I’m in the UK, so estimated delivery isn’t until the middle of September, two whole months away. Thanks guys!

As the link provided above by Satellite News shows, Rattlers, War Of The Insects and at least one other Cinematic Titanic DVD title are available on Amazon and they qualify for free shipping there. I just got War Of The Insects through Amazon with no problems and plan on getting all my CT DVDs there from now on.

@46: Yep, but it’s been that way for months now. I accidentally deleted my copy of “Tiki Island” before burning it, so was hoping to DL the ISO again. After reading the FAQ on the website, I emailed EZTakes directly. They sent me a link to download the mp4 file, but the ISO is unavailable.

Ouch, Amazon.com exclusive? I hope EZTakes gets everything sorted soon.

@33, Dr. Giggles:
“Quality over quantity. Perhaps Mike, Kevin and Bill should keep this in mind.”
I have a feeling it’s more about personal preference. I think it’s interesting that a MSTie would bring up a “quality over quantity” issue in terms of movie riffing though. Most fans I’ve talked to think that the show’s golden era took place during seasons 3-6. Over the course of that four year period they produced 96 episodes of the series. If producing fewer episodes made the season better as a whole, you’d think season 7 would be more popular.
