Favorite costume worn by one of the robot pals in an episode. My favorite costume on a robot is the monkey mask Tom Servo is wearing during the Sandy Frank song. It makes me laugh every time I see it, every single time!
Oh, I have to pick Tom Servo’s candy striper outfit. Grrrr!
What’s yours?
I’ve gotta go with Tom’s Delta Maiden:
“… and I’ve got these!”

Crow: Orville Redenbacher. Turkey Volume Guessing Man.
Servo: too many to count. Grandma Servo counts? Cute Servo from Jack Frost, Servo as Michelle in Girl in Gold Boots.

Crow as Droppy the Water Drop

Crow as the Great Vorellie (however you spell it) and Tom in commando attire.

Servo as a trucker in Riding With Death.
Crow as a Bellarian in Space Mutiny.
Gypsy as Kitty Reed in I Accuse My Parents.

Tom as a Trucker from “Riding With Death”. Great costume, right down to the toothpick in his mouth…

TURKEY VOLUME GUESSING MAN!

A brief answer might be Crow’s costume stripping
in his skit during The Girl in Gold Boots.
Or how about Mike, crow, Servo, and Gypsy as the
Grateful Dead in the Dead talk Back (get it),
including Crow’s memorable (ane interminable)
guitar solo.

Both Crow and Servo as the chanting twins from Godzilla vs the Sea Monster – getting to talk to Mothra is a nice bonus.
Crow as Jana from Daddy-O, when he’s getting ready to drag (snerk!) Servo. Crow always looks good in a wig.
Servo as the cheerleader in Giant Spider Invasion. MRxL!!

I too cast my vote for the superhero with the power to accurately describe, in turkeys, any given volume!
While not a costume, Servo’s head filled with doll heads in “Eegah” is also great.

My favorite Crow costume was the bear in Jack Frost. He just looked so cuddly…until he’d eat half of me and bury the rest for later.

Crow as a bear – simple, yet anatomically correct (well, sort of…).
Servo as any/all of the Thomas Neville Servo singers (Delta Knights).

Crow with “Jerry Hair.”

Crow as Jack Elam. Creepy!
Tom as a Brownie. So cute!

Servo always cut an impressive figure in uniform. The examples are many: “Trooper Tom Servo” doing the “why don’t they look” bit from Last Clear Chance, the United Servo Academy Men’s Chorus outfits, Servo’s tyrannical generalissimo uniform in Merlin’s Mystical Shop of Wonders (hooray!)
Also worthy of mention: Tom Servo as a biker with “short man’s disease” and lifts in his hoverskirt.

Crow and Tom as trumpy for Pod People, monster arms on both for Godzilla Vs. Megalon, and Sir Giggles Von Laughs-a-lot Crow in Monster-A-Go-Go

Servo, Crow and Mike all dressed as Fabio, including prosthetic cleft chins and chest muscles, and blond wigs. Not sure which experiment this was, saw it on the “Poopie!” reel. Fabio, Fabio, FABIO!!

Crow as a bear was definitely cute enough to use twice, but Crow as a Solarite was way more adorable if not equally so. All he needed was a place to scoot.

Mine is Gypsy dressed as the opera singer when they all do their own versions of the Gamera song during the final segment of Gamera vs Zigra.

Can we include Tom Servo when he was being treated for Roji Panty Complex?
J/P=?

Gypsy dressed as the Hellenic idea! “Her gown is like a floating breeze!”

I submit Tom’s Snowglobe Head in “Santa Claus vs. the Martians.” Festively and fantastically fashionable. A real “head-turner.” ;)

Gypsy’s crooked redneck sheriff from a sketch in “Manos: The Hands of Fate”. She made a siren sound to “pull over” Joel, Tom and Crow and she was wearing a cowboy hat, badge, gun & holster. I busted a gut when she came on screen!

I second #8 ck’s opinion. The best costume was Mike and the ‘Bots as “The Dead”
And then the MOON came out, and it was like Jerry willed it!!

Da-da-da-daaa…. Turkey Volume Guessing Man! AKA Crow’s costume xD

Anything worn by Gypsy, but perhaps especially her kimono in the “Noh Theater” sketch. She didn’t have the shoulders for it, sadly.

I would have to go with the “Bear and Dog” costumes.
“What’s too far when your entrails are falling out?”

Crow, as The Screaming Skull.
‘Raah.’

I would say when Servo & Crow dressed up to parody the biker exchange in The Girl in Gold Boots.
“Don’t you know they’ll KILL you for that?”
My favorite Gypsy outfit was when she was Kitty Reed from I Accuse My Parents (which is my second favorite bumper after “Hired: The Musical”).

I liked Tom Servo’s Batman costume, with his discovery of his “Bat Powers”, in “Zombie Nightmare”.

Gotta like and agree with 19 about Gypsy as the Viking opera singer in Gamera (full of meat) vs. Zigra (not full of meat). I will also use that episode for my pick for Crow. He makes a fine rapper. For Servo, I gotta go with the cheerleader garb from Giant Spider Invasion.

Crow’s bear costume, as seen in Prince of Space, because the ode to Jack London intro segment is one of my all time favorite pieces of MST writing. “I was girded by moil spotted hound bodies.” “And then we locked like lovers.” “Spewed gore from my muzzle.” Great imagery.

I rather like Servo’s Kabuki-mask in the Noh Theater sketch.
Crow… I don’t know if we should be encouraging him. It seems he doesn’t remember making the costumes afterward, and they’re very good costumes, apparently created during some sick fugue state. Besides, he’s a gullible freak.

Crow as Jack Elam. So simple, sooooo funny. Also, Gypsy’s leg kicking Servo was a fun reveal.

#17. The experiment is Outlaw of Gor.

For me, both favorites come from the same episode (The Starfighters). Crow in cowboy garb (with a Rollie Fingers moustache) helping to shill Cowboy Mike’s Own Original Red Hot Ricocheeeeet Barbecue Sauce! And all the Servos in the Servo Academy Men’s Choir (Here’s to the guys, and and gals who like to fly…).

No contest here, hands down the winner is Crow as Jack Elam in The Girl From Lover’s Lane Episode. I still laugh EVERY time I see this.

And who can forget Crow as Mary Tyler Moore. He conquered us with his stinking smile.

Number 36 “Spector” hit it right on the head. The song was the best part of the movie. And while Mike, who “claims” he is not robotic,as the grizzled old prospector in “Final Sacrifice” was actually scary. Also, don’t give no matches to Mikey!

Tom’s new head in #610, The Violent Years. And there’s the added bonus of Crow’s reaction!

Gypsy’s costume from the ‘Are You Happy In Your Work’ skit really made her look sweet.
Tom, on the other hand, was downright creepy wearing a ventriloquist dummy head.

I second Crow as Droppy the Water Dropplet….mostly because I own that costume. I bought it when they were selling off stuff on Ebay.

My favorite for Crow is the Belarian because it always makes me think of Stevie Nicks. Whoever did the costumes for the bots should have won some kind of award. Gypsy doesn’t even have any shoulders to hang things on.

Tom as candy striper, cheerleader, and his brigadeer outfit leading the United Servo Men’s Chorus. Honorable mention to Tom in glasses for Servo On Film during Giant Gila Monster.
Crow as the Valerian, hands down. Love that sketch.
Gypsy as Kitty Reed, the many outfits during Gypsy Rose Me, and the sorta prom dress for Mike’s pretend class reunion.
Oh, and I loved both Tom and Crow in the same outfits twice-the diaphanous gowns at the end of Manos, and when everyone on the ship got “hockey hair”.

Reading everyone else’s picks, I gotta add Crow as Jack Elam and Orville Redenbacher as well. Also hilarious stuff.
