A movie about K. Gordon Murray–who brought MSTies the movies in episodes 102- THE ROBOT VS. THE AZTEC MUMMY, 521- SANTA CLAUS AND 624 – SAMSON VS. THE VAMPIRE WOMEN–is apparently getting closer. It now has a Web site on which there is a very wacky teaser trailer and captivating promo trailer.
LAS VEGAS–According to his Web site, actor, director, producer Ray Dennis Steckler died here. Jan. 7, a couple of weeks short of his 71st birthday. Monday is the 30th anniversary of The Star Wars Holiday Special and the L.A. Times has an article about that includes quotes from Mike Nelson (and mentions Kevin and Bill).
We’ve been meaning to mention that the annual B-Movie Celebration in Franklin, Ind., is coming up in a couple of weeks. It’s likely that a lot of folks who like MST3K are the kind of folks who might like this.
