We missed this when it came out about a week ago, but Gareth von Kallenbach of sknr.com interviewed Joel.
• He was quoted in the New York Times only a short time ago, and he appears to be becoming the Times go-to guy on the topic of bad movies. He’s quoted again in a story in tomorrow’s paper about “Birdemic.”
• MST3K is also referenced, of course, in a story today about […] Blogger Dave Holmes at “My Year of Everything,” is doing a Q&A with Kevin. Part 1, part 2, part 3 and part 4.
Joel Hodgson and MST3K are mentioned in the lead-in of, and Joel is quoted in, a New York Times story (apparently in tomorrow’s paper) about people using social media such as Twitter to talk back to TV and other media.
Heh. That would be a mixed blessing, I would think.
