 That sounds like one hell of an event for us fans! Can we hope for some of it to be in a future DVD release for us other poor little church mice? ;-)

Wow, sounds cool.
Why no Mike?

Mike is busy that weekend! He promised us all a BBQ cookout or something…
Seems like this year they should just call it MST3K*Con!

That is an awesome amount of MST3K related events for one convention. It sounds terrific. Since I won’t be there I hope some of those events make it onto Shout! Factory DVDs as extra features.

I can’t wait! I won’t make it to all the panels, but I’ll do my best to hit the big ones and take an audio recording.
Why is Frank not on the Meet the Mads panel?

According to the Dragon*Con program (http://publications.dragoncon.org/index.htm#Pocket), he is.
Perhaps the above listing should be corrected.

Also, Kevin’s Twitter feed states that he won’t be able to attend the Friday panels, so no solo event Friday morning.

I hope to see the “Tom Servo vs. Tom Servo” on a future Shout Factory set. The “Crow vs. Crow” was great!

# 12 I second that!
Please Shout Factory, record the Servo Vs. Servo event! We need something to ape the Crow Vs. Crow!
It’ll also be fun to see Josh and Kevin interacting in an interview. I’ve never seen that before.

Servo Vs. Servo has got to be on Vol. 20, it’s such a natural. And wow, this is the dream MSTcon I’ve been waiting for. If this is any indication of what next year’s Dragon*con has in store, I’m saving my money up starting now.

This is one time I actually *would* go if Mike were going to be there.
It’s not that I don’t have love for all the other guys, but it just seems kind of “wrong” for the guy doing the best post-MST3K work (not to mention being the head writer for ALL the other good stuff) to be missing. I understand people have other commitments so I’m not blaming him, just saying.
Too bad — my wife and I want to drive up to Atlanta someday anyway (just a day’s drive) and this would have been a good time to go. Maybe next year.

Trust me – This year’s events will be documented (so no additional recording necessary, folks). We’ve all been plotting for quite awhile to make sure this is a memorable year. And Hey! Sampo! I’m co-hosting the Quiz Show w/ Widgett… ;)

This sounds fantastic. I tried to schedule this in, but I just couldn’t work it out. Have a great time those who can make it and please send photos.

Did anyone other than me think Kevin and Trace missed a golden opportunity to actually puppet Crow during their “Crow v. Crow” panel? Or at least talk to each other as their Crow? They are both pretty humble guys, and it was obvious the respect they had for each other, so perhaps that stopped it, but I really wanted to hear Crow talk to his future self.
Perhaps we could get Tom v. Tom to do some of this (if anyone had an inside line to them — hint: Ken?)

I’ll be at Dragon*Con and publishing reports via my “Voice Actors in the News” blog and covering animation-related con events for http://toonzone.net/
I’m heavily involved in the Animation Track and am moderating the voice actors panels and hosting an “Animation Fan Fun Panel” as well (it will appear on Friday’s “Daily Dragon.”
I plan to attend as many MST3K/Rifftrax/Cinematic Titanic-related events as possible. I got me a new Sony “Bloggie” just for this weekend so I’ll take as many photos and video as I can.
Looking forward to your panels too, Ken Plume. [Cue the “Prize Music” theme song.]
