SANTA YNEZ, Calif.–John Forsythe, the debonair actor whose matinee-idol looks, confident charm and mellifluous voice helped make him the star of three hit television series, including ABC’s “Dynasty,” died at his home here Thursday, April 1, from complications of pneumonia. He was 92. MSTies will recall him as incredibly gullible Sen. David Stratton in episode 615- KITTEN WITH A WHIP.
His full obit is here.
I prefer to look at it like he just went out for some ice.
R.I.P. John.
Man. There’s been a lot of bummer deaths lately. This one sucks. At least he had a long, successful career.
…if only REAL senators were like him!!
Good night Mr. Forsythe, sleep well sir.
Now he’ll be overseeing some real angels. Wonder if Farrah’s busy?
John is up in Heaven now. “Angels,I have an assignment for you.”
RIP Mr. Forsythe.
RIP John Forsythe.
You nailed it Tim-it makes me feel old-with so
many MST people dropping dead left and right.
Hang in there Ann Margret-I’ll comfort you!!
Wow, another well-known actor who was in a film riffed by MST3K has shuffled off this mortal coil. At least he had a successful TV career. RIP.
R.I.P. Mr. Forsythe
I just watched “Kitten With A Whip” the other day, first time in years. Maybe I will watch one of his better films, “The Trouble With Harry” again this weekend.
Good Night, Charlie. R.I.P
