NEW CANAAN, Conn. — CBS newsman Mike Wallace, who helped make TV’s “60 Minutes” the most successful prime-time television news program ever, died at a care center here Saturday, April 7. He was 93.
In addition to his years as a journalist, Wallace found other gigs as well. He was a great game show host and MSTies will recall that he provided the narration in the English dub of the movie in episode 617 – THE SWORD AND THE DRAGON.

He lived a long and interesting life. Another twinkling star in the constellation MST3K. RIP

We can all have a celebration of his life on July 31st when the new set arrives. Thousands of MSTIES will load episode 617 at the same time. RIP Mike Wallace. You will be missed.

Farewell, Mr. Wallace. A journalist from when Journalists were concerned with Journalism. You will be missed. I had zero clue there was an MST3K connection to you, but now that I know, I’m really looking forward to Set XXIV.
And now, here’s eternity with Andy Rooney…

well I know what movie I’m watching tonight.
RIP Mike Wallace, the reporter who never accepted an evasive non response as an actual answer, and the only one with the brass cojones big enough to ask the Ayatollah Khomeini to his face if he was crazy.

Which episode (I think it was a Mike episode) where they would say “I’m Ed Bradly…” and they’d go on with the “cast” of 60 Minutes?
